1. Statement of Commitment

Electrocall Ltd is fully committed to ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of all employees, contractors, customers, and visitors.
We recognise that a safe working environment is essential to the success of our operations and to the protection of everyone affected by our activities. Our goal is zero accidents, zero injuries, and zero harm to people, property, and the environment.

We believe that all incidents are preventable, and we will continuously strive to improve our safety performance through leadership, training, and accountability at all levels.
 

2. Our Objectives

To achieve our commitment, Electrocall Ltd will:

  • Provide and maintain safe systems of work, safe plant and equipment, and a safe working environment.

  • Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement effective control measures to prevent injury or ill health.

  • Ensure all employees and contractors receive appropriate safety induction, instruction, supervision, and ongoing training.

  • Promote a strong safety culture where everyone takes responsibility for their own safety and that of others.

  • Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Consult and communicate openly with employees and their representatives on matters affecting health and safety.

  • Investigate all incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions to prevent recurrence.

  • Review this policy and associated procedures regularly to ensure they remain effective and up to date.
     

3. Responsibilities

  • Management:
    Directors and managers are responsible for implementing this policy, providing resources, and demonstrating visible leadership in health and safety.

  • Supervisors:
    Supervisors must ensure that all work is carried out safely, procedures are followed, and unsafe behaviour or conditions are addressed immediately.

  • Employees and Contractors:
    Every individual has a duty to take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions.
    All staff must:

    • Follow safety instructions and company procedures.

    • Use tools, equipment, and protective gear correctly.

    • Report hazards, accidents, or unsafe practices immediately.

    • Never undertake work they are not trained or authorised to perform.

  • Visitors:
    Visitors and clients must comply with site safety rules and instructions provided by authorised personnel.
     

4. Safety Principles

Our safety approach is guided by the following principles:

  • Safety is everyone’s responsibility.

  • All accidents and injuries are preventable.

  • Training and communication are key to prevention.

  • No job is so urgent that it cannot be done safely.
